Queens

Our queens are selected primarily from hives that came through the winter well and show little or no signs of nosema. We do not treat for nosema. Bees that are susceptible to nosema aren't well adapted to our climates. Hives that show sign of nosema in the Spring are replaced with more nosema resistant queens.
